We are seeking a Legal Intern to assist us, remotely, with:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis of industry laws and regulations
  • Writing legal memorandums specifying results of research to determine the best course of action
  • Drafting terms/conditions in partnership with our legal counsel
  • Publishing legal agreements to our website so we can execute the commercial portion of said website
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Seeking a student with an interest in commercial transactions and contract law
  • Experience, or specific interest in the Fintech industry/startup space
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong business acumen

Qualifications

  • Minimum semester of contract law
  • Completion of legal writing course with an exceptional grade

Additional Information

  • Slated length of assignment is one semester, with possibility of extension
    • Spring & Potentially Summer 2023
  • Nationwide remote work is acceptable
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, and working on a computer
  • Must be qualified to work in the United States
  • Infrequent travel for in person meetings, depending on circumstances
