Job Summary

The Relationship Manager develops and sustains relationships with the company’s referral partners and is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximize the financial performance of assigned partnerships. They provide partners with advice and support in the implementation of strategic plans to monetize payments and payment-related products and services.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Educate and inform clients about the company’s products, services, and special offers
  • Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
  • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend ways of improving client satisfaction
  • Provide insight into product development and competitive positioning
  • Analyze financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits
  • Attend to client complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Gain solid knowledge of competitors
  • Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
  • Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
    Work with internal departments to ensure company meets clients’ expectations
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong business acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with an aptitude for fostering positive relationships

Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or proven experience as a Relationship Manager
  • 2+ years of experience in the Fintech industry is required

  • Nationwide remote work is acceptable, preferred location in Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, and working on a computer
  • Must be qualified to work in the United States
  • Infrequent travel for in person meetings, depending on circumstances
